The Indian culture is full of patterns, and colors and is distinguished by the food. When it comes to Indian cuisine, a vibrant reflection of the brand name and the characteristics of its culture have to be taken into consideration – “Saddi Galli” – The Indian Street Food Café

Saadi Galli is an idea, a brand that wants to expand all over India highlighting and promoting the typical Indian Street Food providing a lounge experience. The cafe desires to build a brand that serves all over India and provides an unforgettable experience to the customers.

It was necessary to communicate the new brand without falling into the stereotypes of the category. So, the strategy was to make this Indian Street Food café modern, poppy, and pleasing. The typeface is funky yet simple and came out of a search for traditional fonts with a contemporary feel which reflected street food and its tradition. It is designed to amalgamate both English and Hindi typefaces to give it a contemporary yet traditional look. The color palette chosen is bright and focuses on Indian culture and traditions; purple, yellow, and pink.
